The Davis Motorsports team traveled to the Midway Speedway in Crooksville, Ohio once again on Saturday night, August 16 for another $1,500 to win Dirt Late Model event. Michael Davis finished fourth in heat race action, which earned him the outside fourth row starting spot for the A-Main. The Rayland, Ohio native had moved up inside of the top five in the feature and was looking for a great finish when he hit the wall hard and nearly flipped. The incident relegated Michael to a fifteenth place performance and will keep him out of racing action for the next few weeks. Michael Davis and his #7m Dirt Late Model team once again invaded the Midway Speedway in Crooksville, Ohio on Saturday evening, August 9. Michael set fast time in qualifying at the Buckeye State speedplant, as he toured Midway in a mere 14.06 seconds. After finishing second in his heat race, Michael was hoping to break through for his first feature win of 2008. Unfortunately for the driver known as "Hot Rod," he broke a ball joint during the course of the $1,500 to win main event that led to a sixteenth place performance. The Davis Motorsports team was back in Dirt Late Model action on Sunday, August 3 at the Midway Speedway in Crooksville, Ohio. The Buckeye State venue played host to a regular weekly show and a $1,500 top prize was up for grabs. Michael Davis was leading his heat race until brake problems relegated him to a third place performance. After starting from the outside of the third row in the A-Main, Michael helped put on a great show for the fans in attendance, as he battled two and three wide for the lead before winding up third in the final rundown. Michael Davis and his #7m Dirt Late Model team invaded the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (PPMS) on Saturday night, July 19 for a regular weekly show. After finishing fourth in his competitive heat race, Michael rolled off from the outside of the second row for the A-Main.
